MEN IN PINK is a 501(c)3 non-profit dedicated to supporting women and children in need in Miami.
Created in November 2020, our organization serves as a connector between local individuals interested in volunteering with opportunities to participate in social philanthropy.
While open to everyone, our core members are male with the purpose of challenging traditional gender stereotypes of masculinity by representing kindness, compassion and support to women and children. We seek to counter-balance negative perceptions or traumas by representing men who are dedicated to helping others.
We wear pink as a symbol of unity and collective compassion destigmatizing a color that’s traditionally aligned with gender norms thereby embracing diversity to improve the essential well-being of those we serve.
Our goal is to motivate and inspire people to learn the power of giving back.

MEN IN PINK was fostered from the idea that individuals want to volunteer, but would be more inclined to support an organization if there was both a low barrier to entry and also high social element to foster community.
We also recognized a need by Non-Profits for staffing and support in their operations, programs and events.
By aligning the intent to serve with the need for “manpower” to support initiatives, MEN IN PINK brings a cohort of volunteers for both behind the scenes and front of stage service and representation.
MEN IN PINK partners with Miami-based non-profits dedicated to helping women and children by offering support, staffing, and strength for their events, programs, and fundraising. We produce monthly volunteer opportunities where 5-20 volunteers gather as a collective for 2-3 hour shifts, depending on the need.
Our organization has 2 Co-Founders, 8 Ambassadors, 125 active members and 300 subscribers in our database. We host an annual Virtual Toy Drive for the holidays benefitting Lotus House that has grown to amass +300 toys in conjunction with an annual Holiday Party for our members and supporters.
We fundraise for our overhead costs (website, e-mail hosting, marketing platform) by leading a weekly donation-based Boot Camp fitness class in Miami and hosting a summer “Back-to-School” pool party. All remaining funds raised go directly to the non-profits we support.
MEN IN PINK’s inaugural event was sponsoring and serving a lunch at Lotus House on December 17th, 2020. We raised $1750 and had 4 volunteers.
From the impact of initial introduction with many more people inquiring about joining, we committed to hosting a cookie decorating activity for the children the next month. The following March we coordinated 9 volunteers to deep clean the community space.
As we grew, we created a website, registered subscribers, amassed an Instagram following, created a grassroots social media marketing plan, became an official 501(3)c in February 2021 and have become a necessity for events such as the annual Halloween Haunted House and Holiday Virtual Toy Drive at Lotus House.
Having grown in size, MEN IN PINK had the capability to support additional non-profits focused on supporting women and children.
We aligned with Girl Power Rocks and launched our partnership in December 2023 by helping to produce their Fashion Runway and Black History Month Brain Bowl in February 2024.
As we continue to grow, we are continually looking for new opportunities to serve non-profits whose mission aligns with ours - to help women and children in need.
