Big Brothers Big Sisters of Miami is a nonprofit organization dedicated to igniting the power and promise of youth through one-to-one mentoring relationships. By matching caring adult volunteers (“Bigs”) with children (“Littles”) facing adversity, BBBS Miami helps young people build confidence, achieve academic success, and unlock their full potential. With a strong focus on equity and opportunity, over 70% of the youth served come from low-income households.

Mentoring Programs:Community-Based Mentoring
Meet in the community for fun, relationship-building activities.
Time: 6–8 hours/month  

Bigs in School
Mentor students at their school during the day.
Time: 4 hours/month

Take Stock in Children
Support high school students virtually or in person; college & scholarship focused.
Time: 1 hour/month

School to Work
Monthly mentoring + job shadowing hosted at workplaces.
Time: 3–4 hours/month (school year only)
